Nokia 6230 – The PHONE

Nokia 6230 is the Best Phone i have used till date. I have tried my hand on almost 30 phones till now from the first 5110 to the XDA2′s but 6230 is an incrediable phone. It so small but it is not small on performance. It might not be a looker but it does it work quite well. One thing i want to mention here is the Music Capability of the phone which is not Highlighted in any of the reviews on the Net. Its has very good Sound Quality when playing the Songs. Nokia E50 – The Business Phone

Nokia E50 is my current phone, and its really a true Business Phone. I havent tried out the Audio and Video capabilities of this phone yet but its a really good phone, with great voice clarity good battery backup and the plan, simple and powerful Nokia Navigation. The only concern i have is the flimsy Battery cover which falls off every now and then but its a small glitch in such a wonderful phone with which i can live without much of a complaint. Nokia 6600 – The Smart Phone

My date with the Nokia 6600 was very short, but i have done quite a bit of work on the 6600…when it was introduced it was one of the first phones to have an OS and chance to Install Applications…i used to sell computers at that time…so i am the tech guy and people often approached me for the cell phone applications also…its been long but i still rememebr charging 1000 INR for installing some 4-5 applications which is a mere 30 min work…Its a very good phone, which had a special shape, the trusted nokia brand….i still have the hobby of trying out cell phone applications…so if you are looking for some applications do wirte me at sunilsaripalli@gmail.com

Nokia 3330 – The Phone

I was in Chennai when i saw this phone, there were 2 models 3310 and 3330, and the difference between the 2 was 3330 has WAP. I didnt had any idea what WAP is but went ahead and bought it, that starts a very good experience for me. I bought a LED Lit back panel which had some 15-20 LED’s which switched themselves on and off with different patterns, the standby, signal and battery matched the 5110, what more can you ask, and you can key-in your own ringtones…hip hip hurray….download the ringtones from the net and key them in…..Used it for quite sometime without any issues…i still remember changing a battery after 1 years…ADVICE: When you buy a Nokia Battery buy it with Nokia warrenty. Battery in off markets are way cheap but you cannot be sure about the quality of the battery. Play safe.

Nokia 5110 – The Master

Nokia 5110 was my second phone, i had a small samsung phone as my first phone, getting vexed with the lack of voice clarity and the battery power i decided to shift to the 5110, which was 99.99% choice for a phone at that point of time. And it ment serious business, if you want a good phone to work as a phone it will never disappoint you may be a tad heavy and bulky.

Nokia N70 – Universal Fighter

Nokia N70, i think this is the phone i have used for more than an year before shifting to Samsung X820, other than my Nokia 6230. Nokia N70 is one of the best phones Nokia has on offer. If you are ok with the Lower Navigation speeds there is nothing much you can complain about N70 its a real Universal Fighter Phone, it has everything in its favor…the Size is not big not small, just fits in the hand as well as anyother phone, Good Battery, Nokia Standars Voice and Network strengths….i think i need not tell much about it…its one of the best…..more about the N70…

O2 Xda IIi

I have used this phone for 3-4 months, and i should say it doesnt live up to the expectation. The Screen is Big and Clear but a sure No No in direct sunlight. Battery backup is also on the low side and you need to charge it every evening if you are a power user. Its one of the first phones i have used which has a built in Wi-Fi, so a quick check of my emails is always a breeze, without switching on my laptop. If you like to own a O2 try the O2 Mini’s which are lot smaller offering almost all the features with a smaller screen.

Samsung X820 – The Party Phone

I think this is the only phone i have bought 5 min after seeing it. All my other cells are bought after reading some reviews and getting some opinions from friends. I havent seen anything like that before, the great screen, the slim body and the fit and finish is awesome. So i went ahead and bought it, but to say really i was disappointed with the Phones Performance, the battery life is Pathetic ( understandable is you see the size of the battery) Signal is also on the low side…but surprisingly no issues with sound quality. Now i am using it as a Second Phone. One major concern with my phone is the Gold color on the Phone went off after 3 months, i feel sorry for samsung for their quality issues for a 14000 INR phone. iPhone….to die for or not to

Hi Gurus….anything about the iPhone is welcome…..i am a Gadget freek…..and i had a crush on iPhone when its announced…but once i started reading the reviews….i was not so impresses……when i heard its AT&T only i was disappointed but when i walked into a Store in Chennai which has an Unlocked iPhone 8GB model for 32000 INR i was tempted to buy it….but i wanted to use my best friend (Google) and using it i found out that we get to buy an iPhone in US for 400 USD (16000INR) and get it unlocked very easily…so what shall i do buy the Unlocked One for 32000 INR or buy it from US and get it unlocked in india. Moreover i am going for a Business Trip to Singapore later this month, does anyone has any idea what would be the price of unlocked iPhone in Singapore…….
